John Viesta is a New York City based Lighting Designer. He has collaborated on over 25 Broadway productions including: BEAUTIFUL The Carole King Musical, Miss Saigon, The Producers, Young Frankenstein, Spamalot, 42nd Street, Disney’s Beauty and The Beast, …25th Annual Spelling Bee, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, The Merchant of Venice, A View From the Bridge, Gore Vidal’s The Best Man, Arcadia, and The Elephant Man. Internationally John has worked on West End Productions, importing and exporting shows from the UK, and to Sydney Australia.

His designs have also been seen on television shows such as NBC’s SMASH!, Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, ABC’s Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, and the new launch of ESPN’s flagship show, Sports Center.

John Viesta is the president and principal designer of Infinite Designs inc. a NYC based design studio providing turnkey solutions for television, live performance, film, and web based broadcasts.

John Viesta holds a BFA from Purchase College, member of: United Scenic Artists Local 829, the U.K. Association of Lighting Designers, and The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
